Internal and Community Fellowships and Scholarships

  • ​Pioneer Jobs​​: Specific to current CSUEB students and recent graduates. You can search for internships & jobs as well as register for workshops, upload your resume, and more.
  • Community Service Scholarship Program (CSSP): Each summer since 1993, continuing CSUEB Students volunteer with selected non-profit organizations gaining experience and earning a scholarship through the Community Service Scholarship Program (CSSP). Bay Area non-profits are solicited for summer internships, these are placed on Handshake. CSSP was created by Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Rosenblatt through a private foundation to encourage students to volunteer. Presently internships are 100 hours and scholarships are $1000.
  • East Bay College Fund: East Bay College Fund helps resilient public school students, under–represented in higher education, access and succeed in college, expanding their life opportunities. East Bay College Fund aspires to involve the whole community in providing college access services, scholarships, mentoring, and support networks to assist these young people in realizing their full potential.​
  • East Bay Community Foundation: Many community members recognize that the key to their success in life is due to the education they received, and they want to make it possible for others to benefit from a good education. All scholarships are awarded for charitable purposes and are made on an objective, non-discriminatory basis.
  • East Bay Community Foundation: The East Bay Consortium of Educational Institutions, Inc. is one of fifteen California Student Opportunity and Access Projects (Cal-SOAP) administered by the California Student Aid Commission. The East Bay Consortium provides services to students and teachers in Oakland to achieve the goal of increasing the number of students finishing high school and enrolling in postsecondary institutions.

  • Scholly: Scholly was created by Christopher Gray who won $1.3 million in scholarships through grit, sweat, and hustle. In realizing how broken and time consuming this process was, he created Scholly to make things much easier.​
  • Student Opportunity Center:​ Create an account with the Student Opportunity Center using your university email to search opportunities in your interested major or career field. Learn about local and national internships, conferences, funding/scholarships and publications. 
  • AfterCollege Scholarships: ​We have a lofty vision: to help every college student and recent graduate discover their career path. We’ve built solid relationships with colleges and universities across the country and want to provide students with the opportunity to not only interact with prospective colleges but to be recruited by them as well.
  • Open Education Database (OEDb) Graduate Scholarships: ​Scholarships for graduate school can help students pay for college and supplement their income as they pursue a graduate-level academic or professional degree. Even with a variety of options to help reduce the cost of their degree, including fellowships, teaching assistantships, and stipends, graduate students face stiff competition to obtain these awards and often continue struggling to pay living expenses once they receive financial assistance.
