Chicanos in Health Education
Our mission is to encourage underrepresented minority students pursue a graduate level education in the health careers and give back to the community. We are open to all students of all ethnic backgrounds, not just Chicanos/Latinos. Being students at CSUEB, we recognize the disparities in resources and opportunities available to us compared to our counterparts at other universities, so we hope we can all come together and help each other through our journey to success. Our chapter of CHE is dedicated to creating a community of students interested in the health field reach their professional goals. We hope to accomplish this by providing experiences through mentorship, community service and outreach, education, academic support, and helpful resources for pre-health professions.
